Glass of WaterI’m still working on my food choices but I have done a really good job at changing my beverages. I have eliminated juice, iced tea, lemonade etc. and choose to drink water instead. I would never drink water before because I thought it was boring and tasteless. Now that I am being more aware of what I’m putting in my body, other beverages just seem like a waste of calories. I would much rather eat my calories then drink them.
I’ve started off slowly so as not to overload my body with water because past results have shown that I just end up going to the bathroom every 20 minutes, getting frustrated with that and giving up. I’m up to approximately 1350ml or 45oz of water a day. Hopefully if I keep this up, I’ll get the added benefit of better skin especially through the winter when my skin is normally super dry.
