Today was another successful food day but I was so hungry after the kids were in bed I practically had another meal. I could have eaten nachos or cookies but instead made a healthier choice. I really had to use my self-control but once I sat down to eat, I was happy.
Here’s what I ate today:

Breakfast:

  • 1 slice of whole wheat toast with light peanut butter

Lunch:

  • Turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread with cheese and light mayo
  • 1 cup of Life Brand beef barley soup
  • 1 cup raw carrots
  • 1 cup grapes

Snack:

  • 1 cup Corn Bran cereal
  • 4 dried apricots

Dinner:

  • 2 buttermilk pancakes with peach yogurt
  • 1/2 banana

Snack:

  • Turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread with cheese, light mayo and lettuce
  • 1 cup 1% milk
