I was watching Dr. Oz yesterday and he spoke quickly about the four cravings our brains feel. Sleep, sex, water and food. He said that cravings can last up to 15 minutes and there are two ways to deal with them. In the mail on Friday I received from Foodland Ontario their Fresh Ontario Food Nutrition Guide. One side has all of the types of produce that is grown in Ontario, their seasonal availability and nutritional information. The other side has meat, dairy and legumes that are also produced in Ontario and their nutritional information as well. I went onto their website to see what other information was available. I didn’t grow up with Valerie Bertinelli so I’ve only come to know her when she went public with her weight loss with Jenny Craig. I don’t know anything about the Jenny Craig program but in my opinion they’ve picked a great spokesperson.
